ANANTA facilitates 'Music, Meditation & Stillness Tuesdays' 6-7pm at The Arlene Francis Center in Santa Rosa, CA. Where participants enjoy 20 minutes of grounding cello; 20 minutes of stillness and 20 minutes of gently rejuvenating violin.
As an instructor, ANANTA has started music programs in Sonoma & Napa Valley Charter Schools as well as internationally in Dehradun, India. She currently works with 'dedicated' students privately!
ANANTA frequents the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Portland, Eugene and Los Angeles music scenes regularly as a solo artist. She has played with bands/artists such as Gabby La-La, Les Claypool, Jane Wiedlin, Pamela Parker, Boots Riley, Kaki-King, Jaya Lakshmi, Lost at Last, Jay Lane, Geoffrey Gordon, Tami Gosnell, Sophia Mallie, Shirley King, Joanne Rand, The Mountain Goats and Sukhawat Ali Khan. She has performed violin on Sophia Mallie's upcoming album 2011; violin, cello on Amelia Hogan's album 2011, violin, cello, electric violin on Tami Gosnell's 2011; cello & electric violin on Hoytus Rolen's album 'High Fly' 2010, Jane Clark. Violin on Chris Bramble's album 'For Those With Eyes to See', 2009 Bramblin' Rose Music. Violin soloist on Jaya Lakshmi's 'Sublime' album, 2008 Sequoia Records; violin soloist on Swami Vishwananda's 'Love Beyond Words 2' album, 2008 Geoffrey Gordon. ANANTA co-produced her first album 'Groove Sessions', 2008 Jane Clark.
